STARTING OVER

HERE'S BEEN THE STORY OF MY LIFE FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS....

Lose a few, gain a few more, lose a few, gain a few more....until one day I realize I am fighting a losing battle...or is it?

Beginning Monday (tomorrow) March 1st, 2010 I will begin again and this time commit myself to fight the fight until the end. No more excuses!!! Life is passing me by and I want to be healthy and fit as I begin to approach the latter years of my life--so I can ENJOY my life, my grandchildren, my family. Life changes...small steps to a lifetime of changes.

Every Sunday I will post my successes and failures about losing weight and sticking to a work out schedule. I'll record my weight loss and inches lost. I want to hold myself accountable and thought by getting this 'out there' I might get some support from my girlfriends! Are you in this with me? Okay...here we go!

I'm going to start with my beginning weight and measurements (without disclosing) but I will report how I'm doing each week. And at the end of this time will post before and after pictures, before and after weight and sizes. UGH! Scarey to commit myself to this!

So--I've registered on Jillian Michael's website and will be following her diet and excercise plan. The great thing about this is I'll be keeping a daily journal and writing down EVERYTHING I eat each day.

My Goals:

#1 No sugar
#2 1200 calories/day
#3 Excercise Daily (2x/day if possible)
#4 Drink atleast 48 oz. of water/day
#5 Avoid my afternoon "snack" binging by walking, doing yoga, visiting my granddaughters
#6 Eat by 6:00 p.m. every night--nothing after 7:00 p.m.
#7 Adhere to a regular schedule of sleep
#8 Lose 40 lbs. by June 30, 2010

Okay--I'm counting on you to hold me to this......Here I go!!!
